ACTIVA BioACTIVE-RESTORATIVE™ is a biocative composite that delivers the advantages of glass ionomers in a strong resin matrix that will not chip or crumble. It chemically bonds to teeth to seal against microleakage and releases more calcium, phosphate and fluoride than a glass ionomer while being more durable and fracture resistant than traditional composites.
ACTIVA's ionic resin matrix combines a shock-absoring resin component with bioactive fillers that mimic the physical and chemical properties of natural teeth. It releases and recharges with calciuim, phosphate and fluoride ions to deliver long-term benefts to your patients.
