Biosonic S1 Piezo is an ultrasonic scalar system that provides an easy transition from hand scaling. In addition, it offers digital control, automatic tracking frequency, and faster bacteria/biofilm removal. The piezoelectric cavitational effect also makes deposit removal simply easier, and the ultrasonic tips are slimmer than hand scaling tips. Biosonic S1 Piezo has 3 settings: General Scaling, Periodontic, and Endodontic.

The "S" selection of tips refers to the Satelec Thread Style.
