Biodentine® is a Bioactive restorative dentin substitute from Septodont. This versatile material is user friendly and can be used wherever dentin is damaged. Biodentine has a tricalcium silicate-bsed formula that promotes tooth remineralisation and preserves pulp vitality. Its outstanding sealing properties ensure less post-operative sensitivity and less bacterial percolation. Biodentine can be used for both endodontic and restorative procedures. It sets in 10-12 minutes, which minimizes chair time for the patient.

Indications:

• In the crown: temporary enamel restoration, permanent dentin restoration, deep or large carious legions, deep cervical or radicular lesions, pulp capping, pulpotomies
• In the root: root and furcation perforations, internal/external resorptions, apexification, retrograde surgical filling
