Dental City ASTM Level 3 Earloop Masks offer a high level of protection for procedures with Moderate to High amount of fluid, spray and/or Aerosol. The guidelines for performance is based on ASTM F1862: The New Standard for Fluid-Resistant Protection. These masks meet all standards for ASTM Level 3 masks and have a BFE ≥ 98% and PFE ≥ 98%. Our Level 3 Earloop Masks have a fluid resistant inner and outer layer but are still easy to breathe through and comfortable to wear. Available in many colors to meet everyone's preference!

ASTM F1862 standards call for performance of medical face masks, including a requirement for fluid resistance and particulate filtration for all 3 levels of masks. It also call for mask packaging to be clearly labeled with the level of protection in one of three levels: 1, 2 or 3. This new standard reinforces the important of labeling to identify protection levels, based on fluid resistance, filtration, and breathability. ASTM F1862 is recognized by the FDA as the standard for medical face masks.
